Job Description:
Works on an Agile inter-disciplinary team as a senior subject
matter expert in the application of large data analytics and
marketing execution and measurement projects in a financial
services environment. Analyzes customer behavior across transaction
types and touchpoints and customer attributes and preferences.
Identifies levers for driving successful customer outcomes, using
Oracle SQL, SQL Developer, and Hive for data extraction and
transformation, and R, Adobe Analytics, and QlikSense for analysis
and visualization. Uses insights to define, size and measure
marketing and sales experiments. Creates data products,
visualizations, and dashboards for senior management. Primary Responsibilities: Provides analytics and insights to senior management for
redesigning strategies. Assists in scaling up the analytics and insights, including
serving as a subject matter expert. Analyzes how customers engage with product offerings, both
online and offline, and how to market them better. Defines existing gaps in services and summarizes results for
stakeholders. Provides input to marketing strategy in terms of targeting,
customer and client preferences, and channels. Designs and maintains dashboards, which analyze marketing
opportunities associated with customers, enabling focused,
personalized marketing outreach to better serve customer needs. Works with technology partners on building data sets and tools
to support analytic requests. Defines best practices and codes for using data in a data
warehouse. Assists in defining requirements that enables detailed reporting
on communication(s) sent to customers. Identifies areas of improvement from a marketing perspective, to
obtain higher conversions and increased revenue. Identifies the primary drivers of phone calls and ways to
resolve those issues online. Consults on the development and delivery of major initiatives
for the business unit. Consults on the deployment of major project deliverables. Oversees the implementation of cross-divisional or company data
analytics components. Sets vision, goals, and direction of team/organization. plans and leads organization-wide initiatives. provides leadership and expertise to multiple teams in broad
technical areas on complex organization-wide projects. Determines approaches at a strategic level for the business
unit. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Business
Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a closely
related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or
six (6) years of experience performing statistical analysis, and
data extraction, transformation, and summarization to support and
inform marketing strategies within the financial services
industry. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering,
Economics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of
experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience
performing statistical analysis, and data extraction,
transformation, and summarization to support and inform marketing
strategies within the financial services industry. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing marketing execution,
experimentation, and measurement according to customer and employer
preferences, regulatory and contractual concerns, and customer
profile, transaction, and interaction history within a financial
services environment; designing, testing, and scaling marketing
experiments across multiple channels -- email, direct mail, onsite
messaging, and outbound calling -- using Unica Campaign and Adobe
Target; reporting the effectiveness and repeatability of marketing
and sales efforts using statistical analysis; performing data
extraction and manipulation, using Oracle SQL Developer and Hive;
and performing data summarization and statistical analysis, using
R, Adobe Analytics, and Microsoft Excel. DE parsing, summarizing, and visualizing customer journeys
across on and offline activity; tying engagements to financial
transactions, using Clickstream data, SQL, Adobe Analytics, and R
packages; and performing statistical analysis, and data extraction,
transformation, and summarization to support and inform marketing
strategies within the financial services industry, using
statistical methods (inferential statistics, hypothesis testing,
and experiment design) and data analytics software (Oracle SQL and
R). DE extracting, transforming, and analyzing unstructured and
semi-structured data -- text content (onsite articles),
customer-entered feedback (surveys and online tool interactions),
and email engagement activity -- to generate insights for content
strategy and customer experience touchpoints, using TF-IDF, Cosine
similarity in R, regular expressions, and window functions in SQL;
and creating standards and repeatable workflows to integrate data
from external websites, Adobe Analytics, and internal data
warehouses -- Customer Warehouse Environment (CWE) -- to process at
scale. DE performing data extraction, transformation, and summarization
for data products and dashboards, using Oracle SQL and R; and
designing self-serve visualizations of customer data insights to
present analysis output -- customer needs, patterns, and strategy
-- and recurring reports to stakeholders, using QlikSense, R,
