Job Description:

Working under the direction of Training Engineering Manager 1, will be

responsible for producing learning content as it relates to MathWorks

products, including video tutorials, problem sets, software tools for

interactive exploration, and supplemental materials; working primarily with

course instructors to supplement course content; gathering requirements,

producing online learning modules, and integrating learning content with

course sites; writing engaging lessons on products in video tutorial format;

designing skill tests to assess student mastery of concepts; storyboarding

lessons for graphical video production; partnering with software developers

and content specialists to integrate content into online course

environments; and managing projects for customized learning content.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer

Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics or

Physics and no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Computer Science and Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics and

five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience

in delivering technical product support or corporate training of

mathematical modeling for data analysis.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise delivering technical support or providing

corporate training on functionality of MATLAB, Statistics Toolbox, and

Optimization Toolbox for performing data analysis.

• Demonstrated expertise writing algorithms and programming in MATLAB.

• Demonstrated expertise writing tutorials to deliver technical

support or corporate trainings in mathematical modeling.

• Demonstrated expertise delivering technical support or corporate

training on the use of modeling tools that interface MATLAB with other

programming languages.
