Job Description:
Duties: As a member of the Fidelity Business Consulting (FBC)
Group, partner with senior Fidelity leadership teams (e.g. Office of
the Chairman, Management Committee, Business Unit Presidents) as a trusted
advisor to solve their most critical business issues. Will focus on
strategy development and operational improvement. Will identify and
launch growth initiatives, manage and/or facilitate cross-enterprise
initiatives, and address difficult operational issues. Primary Responsibilities: • Partner with Senior Vice Presidents to develop a well-balanced
book of business across all of the Fidelity companies. • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients. • Oversee the delivery of high-impact consulting projects. • Interact with Fidelity personnel at senior levels (e.g. EVPs
and SVPs) and help to build consensus with key stakeholders. • Create and deliver presentations to senior executives. • Create a positive work environment that reflects Fidelity’s
values of integrity, excellence, and teamwork. • Lead and participate in initiatives to strengthen FBC and
propel the organization toward its goals. • Provide coaching, mentoring, and career guidance on a formal
and informal basis. • Manage the professional development of direct reports. Requirements: MBA or Master’s (or foreign education equivalent)
in Business or Finance and five (5) years of experience in the job
offered or five (5) years of experience performing management consulting,
strategy development and business transformation analysis for financial
services organizations within a management consulting environment. Also
Requires: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) in strategy development and
management consulting for firms in the retail brokerage, wealth management,
asset management or capital markets’ industry, including industry
analysis, process redesign, customer research, competitive benchmarking,
pricing strategy, service model design, mergers & acquisition strategy,
scenario planning and program management; DE creating and delivering
operational improvement, strategic planning and business case models to
influence senior management and stakeholders in strategic decision-making;
DE in quantitative modeling and business simulation using Excel and
Access and business and statistical analysis using SAS; DE in multi-year
business planning, quantitative modeling and analysis, financial modeling
& analysis, product/service evaluation, opportunity
