***Multiple positions available*** Researches and builds complex, cutting edge, scalable Artificial
Intelligence (AI) algorithms, models, platforms, and technologies
to improve customer experience and drive business results. Develops
supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning (ML) algorithms --
regression, decision trees/random forest, neural networks, feature
selection/reduction, clustering, parameter, and tuning. Programs ML
frameworks, using Phython, R, Spark, or Scala. Leads ML strategy
and road map planning. Formulates and applies mathematical modeling
and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information
that assists management with decision-making, policy formulation,
or other managerial functions. Collects and analyzes data and
develops decision support software, services, or products. Performs
validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate
models. Primary Responsibilities: Partners with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize
AI opportunities. Ensures the efficient build of algorithms using quantitative
approaches. Coordinates data science and AI projects. Collaborates with technology, product management, and call
center teams across domains to define and develop AI-based
solutions. Gathers data from multiple sources. Performs data processing, and exploratory and unstructured data
analysis and measurement. Performs predictive and prescriptive analytics. Interprets research findings for presentations and system
implementation. Ensures data quality of data gathering and analysis
functions. Guides data science and engineering elements of AI projects. Sets the strategic direction for data identification and
collection. Develops standard methodologies for data science projects taking
into account the full analytical lifecycle. Develops guidelines for the evaluation of new analytical tools
and platforms. Implements new technologies in a production environment. Presents reports and findings to senior level technical and
non-technical audiences. Contributes to advancing analytics and data science capabilities
for a variety of employee benefit products. Prepares data for processing by organizing information, checking
for inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighing raw data. Presents statistical and non-statistical results, using charts,
bullets, and graphs, in meetings. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Analytics,
Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information
Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five
(5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of
experience developing supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning
(ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms. Or alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering,
Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics,
or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience in the
job offered or two (2) years of experience developing supervised
and unsupervised Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence
(AI) algorithms. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing advanced statistical
analytics to develop and evaluate supervised and unsupervised ML
algorithms -- Regression, Decision Trees, Neural Networks, linear
and mixed effect models, Feature Selection, Hyper-Parameter tuning,
and ranking models; and developing and evaluating supervised and
unsupervised ML algorithms, using Python and ML libraries PyTorch,
scikit-learn, Tensorflow, and Keras. DE launching ML and DL models in remote compute servers and in
online environments to perform data and runtime profiling of
solutions to assess the efficacy of ML and AI algorithms --
experimental design, A/B testing, performance monitoring, AI
fairness evaluation, and bias mitigations. DE writing production-level code to deploy AI solutions and to
achieve greater run-time performance and low latency according to
Test Driven Development mindset, using caching mechanism and
client-server architecture; prototyping and deploying ML solutions,
using Docker-containers and Cloud-based environments (Amazon Web
Services (AWS); and building service end-points, using REST API,
Flask, and Dash. DE designing time series analysis frameworks that perform risk
analysis and backtesting for models ARIMA, LSTM, ANN, Linear
