Job Description:

Duties: The Management Consultant works as an integral member of a 2-5

person project team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Day-to-day management of the tasks related to individual work

streams.

• Directing and executing various analyses, including market

analysis, internal capability assessment, competitor intelligence, customer

research, product assessment, and financial analysis/modeling.

• Conducting secondary research to understand industry trends,

competitors, customers, regulatory changes, or technology changes.

• Developing insights and conclusions from analysis and research.

• Interacting with Fidelity personnel at various levels, including

senior executives, to gather data and build consensus.

• Preparing presentations and assisting in presentations to senior

executives.

• Working closely with business unit personnel to implement

recommendations.

• Developing knowledge and skills necessary to assume additional

responsibilities within Fidelity Business Consulting (FBC) or other parts

of Fidelity.

Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Business, Finance or Business Administration and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in strategic

business process transformation, product strategy analysis, and program

management. Also Requires: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) in business,

operations and cost structure analytics of financial institution models

(broker-dealers [prime/discount], traditional/alternate asset managers,

investment advisory firms, private banks, or trust companies); DE in

strategic analysis and feasibility assessment of retail and institutional

financial products (mutual funds, alternate funds [hedge funds, private

equity and venture capital funds], fund-of-fund structures, equities, fixed

income instruments, or derivatives); DE in strategy development including

industry analysis (forecasting and risk analysis), process redesign,

customer research, secondary research, competitive benchmarking, and

program/product management; and developing and delivering business strategy

presentations and models to influence senior management and client

executives of financial institutions in strategic business decision-making

and product/operations structuring; DE in business planning, quantitative

modeling and analysis, financial modeling and analysis, product/service

evaluation, opportunity identification, and business case development of

financial institution models (broker-dealers [prime/discount],

traditional/alternate asset managers, investment advisory firms, private

banks, or trust companies).
