Job Description:

This posting covers multiple openings for the position described.

Duties: Will develop, write, test, deploy and manage Oracle Packages and

Stored Procedures related to HIPAA compliant EDI transactions. Key

responsibilities will include; working collaboratively with users to obtain

specifications and requirements; developing the necessary Packages and

Stored Procedures in Oracle to incorporate the Business Logic; creating

database objects in Oracle: Tables, Views, Indexes, Synonyms and Sequences

based on the requirement; designing and implementing Interfaces based on

the Business Requirements; tuning SQL Queries, Procedures, Functions and

Packages using EXPLAIN PLAN and TKPROF; scheduling the jobs using

DBMS_SCHEDULER and Control-M; creating Ad-hoc Reports for Business users to

analyze the data; loading the flat files into Source tables using SQL*

Loader; creating Stored Procedures to validate and load data from staging

tables to Base tables; resolving any issues related to the data load and

existing business logic; and providing production support.

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Electronics,

Telecommunications, Communications, Computer Science, Technology, or

Mathematics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as

five (5) years experience in Job Offered or five (5) years of experience in

database development within an Oracle environment. Or, alternatively, a

Master of Science degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications,

Communications, Computer Science, Technology, or Mathematics (willing to

accept foreign education equivalent) as well as three (3) years experience

in Job Offered or three (3) years of experience in database development

within an Oracle environment. Also requires experience with: Demonstrated

Expertise (DE) creating database objects in Oracle -- Packages, Procedures,

Functions, Tables, Indexes, Synonyms and Sequences, using PL/SQL Developer

and TOAD; DE in performance tuning, optimization of complex queries and

data loading, using TKPROF, Explain Plan and SQL Loader, and automating

jobs using DBMS_SCHEDULER and Control M; and DE in SDLC (Software

Development Life Cycle), including requirement gathering and analysis,

creating documentation (ER diagram, functional spec., detailed design), and

developing and executing quality assurance test plans for unit, system and

regression testing.
