Job Description:
This posting covers multiple openings for the position
described. Duties: Will plan, direct, and ensure the successful management
of designed business solutions utilizing the complete resources of the PMO
Office and assigned project management teams; provide technical assistance
in identifying, evaluating and developing methods and procedures
that are efficient, effective and meet good business practice; maintain
excellent communication with upper management both within and across
organizations to ensure smooth running of all projects undertaken by the team;
lead the PMO in a mature and organization-focused manner, providing help
where necessary to project a professional image; coach and mentor team members
to help them achieve individual expectations and deliverables; assess
resource loads and make appropriate individual assignments; manage the
members of the PMO – driving organizational effectiveness and
accountability; serve as a key liaison with all functional groups and business
facilitating planning, prioritization and collaboration between groups;
develops and communicates project management standards and best practices;
identify, secure, and coordinate implementation of internal and external
ika resources and expertise as appropriate to achieve project
objectives; collaborate with functional areas in the supervision of project
personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem
resolution; evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions;
ensure that all ika projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting
targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters;
negotiate changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives
and timelines; assign projects to Project Management Office staff
and monitor progress; supervise the ika Project and Junior Project Managers;
advise leadership and/or business executives at the highest levels
about the project portfolio, status and resource planning; initiate and
implement new methodologies, process and procedures that will support Company
long and short term goals; and, in addition to project and new
functionality deployment, responsibilities include career development,
performance management, and pay determination and communication. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology,
Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business (willing to
accept foreign education equivalent) as well as seven (7) years
experience in Job Offered or seven (7) years of experience in business analysis,
project management, and execution in the operations or information
technology departments of a Health Plan or Healthcare insurance
environment. Or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Engineering, Technology,
Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business (willing to
accept foreign education equivalent) as well as five (5) years
experience in Job Offered or five (5) years of experience in business analysis,
project management, and execution in the operations or information
technology departments of a Health Plan or Healthcare insurance
environment. Also requires experience with: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) applying
Software Development (SDLC), Product Life-Cycle Management (PLCM), and
Total Quality Management (TQM) methodologies, in the Project Management of
large, enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure
development and deployment; DE project managing large, enterprise-wide
information technology projects, according to ITIL Frameworks and
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Standards; DE in project management or
process management of an enterprise-wide information technology system
within a healthcare insurance environment, using MS Project and
SharePoint; DE in business analysis and process mapping of an end-to-end online
healthcare claims and adjudication system, including configuration of
sub-modules: membership, provider, enrollment, claims, contract, and
authorizations as well as Sales Automation Portals and Medical Management
