Job Description:

Provides Business Systems analysis through evaluation, analysis,

documentation, and validation of system- related processes from end-

users’ perspective. Evaluates and translates end-user needs and

challenges to technical associates. Performs gap analysis based on

customer requests. Unit tests modules before implementation, and

reviews end-user documentation, including user guides, process flow

charts, and training materials for accuracy. Selects or creates

appropriate scenarios to test all results to determine whether system

changes met project specifications. Teaches end users new technology

and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools, and provides

support for existing system procedures. Defines business and system

requirements by developing an information-gathering strategy,

facilitating user meetings, interviewing users, developing use cases,

and researching and resolving issues. Synthesizes and documents testable

requirements based on end users’ needs and develops an implementation

strategy. Conducts high-level business analysis involving complex

business requirements and processes. Develops detailed requirements and

related documentation. Participates in business analysis project

planning by documenting and maintaining plans, maintaining issue logs,

and preparing project documentation. Configures packaged solution

software systems using business requirements documentation. Validates

setup for completeness and consistency. Identifies system conversion

and data migration requirements. Verifies testability of the functional

requirements and identifies and documents test requirements. Performs

Quality Assurance reviews. Develops and documents test plans,

procedures, environment, and tools. Identifies, isolates, analyzes, and

documents abnormal software behavior and product discrepancies. Tracks

corrective activities and time spent resolving issues. Performs system

setup validation and executes test procedures and develops comparable

data sets.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Information Systems or a related field and no experience;

OR, in the alternative:

No degree and 4 years of Business Systems operations experience within a

Health Care environment.

Special Requirements:

(1) Demonstrated expertise identifying and managing cross-functional

integration points;

(2) Demonstrated expertise researching and making recommendations on the

deployment of new and enhanced business systems functions or features

and working independently and collaboratively in a complex, multi-team

environment;

(3) Demonstrated expertise leveraging Oracle eBusiness Suite

applications and technology to solve complex system challenges that span

multiple business units.
