Job Description:

Position overview: Will monitor and manage all production and processes to

deliver technology applications and infrastructure project requests in a

timely and efficient manner. Working closely with development and

operational staff, will ensure workflow and processes exceed business

expectations while supporting delivery requirements. Will provide technical

leadership and mentor more junior staff and project team members.

Primary responsibilities: Develop project scope definition and

implementation plans to maximize allocation of resources, ensure timeliness

of delivery, and optimize technology solutions. Write Windows Batch

scripts for automated job scheduling of HAL routines, Hyperion planning

refreshes, and Essbase MaxL scripts. Write Essbase MaxL scripts for

automated hierarchy building, data loading and calculation execution

against Essbase OLAP Server. Liaise with IT and Finance regarding:

analysis and management of potential impact of source system changes

impacting Hyperion system/staging area; environment issues affecting

planning and ETL staging layer; and, coordination of Hyperion application

upgrades and ETL staging migrations. Plan systems applications and

resources to develop, test and complete programs. Monitor progress and

provide appropriate updates to senior management. Establish and maintain

standards for system and applications architecture, configuration and

documentation. Ensure that systems and applications are in compliance with

and consistent with the company’s SDLC standards. Lead, mentor, and coach

IT analysts in making appropriate technical decisions. Manage IT vendors

to ensure timely and excellence delivery of services. Monitor customer

satisfaction levels and maintain efficient and cost-effective services.

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information

Technology, or Computer Engineering (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) as well as five (5) years of experience in job offered or five

(5) years performing data modeling and designing data warehouse

applications. Also requires: demonstrated expertise devising, planning,

and project-managing Hyperion projects (planning, execution, evaluation,

risk management, issues resolution, change management, QA, document

management, and managing stakeholder requirements) ; demonstrated expertise

designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining multiple

Hyperion planning applications, Essbase databases, and associated objects

used for monthly reporting of actuals, forecasting, budgeting, and long

range planning within a restaurant or retail environment; demonstrated

expertise developing SQL queries and PL/SQL code for Essbase data load

rules and Hyperion Application Link (HAL) hierarchy loads; demonstrated

expertise in application development across the SDLC according to Agile and

Waterfall methodologies.
