Job Description:

Title: Software Engineer III - (Storefront - SF Verticals)

Duties: Manage web security for highly-trafficked ecommerce site; scale

website to handle over one million unique visitors per day. Develop

large systems using PHP and/or Python in support of e-commerce sites,

internal applications and supplier extranet. Perform MySQL and MS SQL

database design, development and performance optimization. Work with

multiple business stakeholders and other client-side technology teams to

create next-generation site features; engage in high-level client side

architecture discussions. Perform code reviews and train and mentor

junior engineers. Plan and execute all phases of the software

development lifecycle using Agile SCRUM methodology.

Requirements: Master's degree in engineering, computer science,

information systems or related field (willing to accept foreign

education equivalent) plus 2 years' experience performing design and

development using PHP or a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience

as stated above. Also requires, demonstrated expertise developing front-

end and back-end for web applications, using PHP and Linux; demonstrated

expertise developing database queries, triggers and stored procedures

and performing database ETL using SQL; demonstrated expertise performing

automated testing using PHPUnit; demonstrated expertise performing web

development using HTML, CSS & JavaScript; demonstrated expertise

maintaining code repository using Git; demonstrated expertise

interfacing with business stakeholders to gather requirements, and

translating requirements into system design; and demonstrated expertise

interfacing with manual testing teams and other engineering teams

throughout the development lifecycle.
