Job Description:

Position: Software Engineer III - Product Catalog Team I

This posting covers multiple openings for the position described.

Duties: Responsible for full-stack development and feature modification for e-

commerce platforms. Work on both front end and back end business workflow, and on

both web-based applications and Windows-based software. Use MVC and MVVM, develop

and maintain assembly of .NET Desktop applications; maintain source code and

documentation. Work with merchandizing and category management teams to advise on

feasibility of concepts; mentor team’s junior engineers.

Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information

Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 2

years’ experience developing web platforms using .Net and SQL Server or,

alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience as stated above.

Also requires demonstrated expertise developing web applications and implementing

functionality using C#, .Net, PHP, Javascript and HTML; writing and tuning

database queries in a high-performance, multi-server SQL server environment;

building scalable and maintainable software, and developing software algorithms to

streamline back-end workflow and improve efficiency; analyzing functional

requirements and translating requirements into software design; mentoring junior

developers in developing and implementing software code; and performing code

review to ensure that developed code is ready for productions.
