Job Description
Create clarity and positive momentum towards a shared vision for a world class financial modeling from AIR.
Provide thought leadership based on experience with insurance and reinsurance terms, data coding challenges and risk modeling needs of the industry.
Discover problems in the market regards gaps in coding policies, financial modeling, and validating assumptions by interviewing customers, recent evaluators and untapped potential customers. Validate problems to show their pervasiveness in the market.
Identify competitive and alternative offerings in the market. Assess their strengths and weaknesses. Develop a strategy for winning against the competition.
Demonstrations, presentations and discussions with clients about products, pre and post sales
Contribute to product roadmaps, ideate on product definition, create feature overviews and help with design, development and quality of product development.
Define pre-launch, post launch and go to market and lead conversations on licensing, pricing, deployment for the initiative, function or product as needed.
Establish direct relationship with clients
Advocate for PM best practices and process improvements.

At least 10+ years working in a leadership role in catastrophe modeling workflows, strong actuarial background, ideally in different insurance and reinsurance companies or catastrophe modeling vendors.
Strong understanding of insurance and/or reinsurance industry particularly the use of financial models for quantification of catastrophe risk including related exposure data, financial terms and catastrophe modeling workflows.
Proven ability to guide global teams answer technical financial modeling questions.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to dig into details and understand the big picture.
Willing to build expertise in all areas of product development: From domain, business, technology to design, from discovery and delivery techniques and processes to marketing and analytics.
