Job Description:
WHAT YOU'LL DOThe candidate will support the Global Topic Leader
for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Industrial Goods (IG)
Practice Area and the global Practice Area Management & Operations
Team of the Industrial Goods Practice with the execution of our
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion agenda. Key responsibilities, in
order of share of your time:
- Collect and maintain data on IG's diversity, related
initiatives and important KPIs to increase transparency on DEI
progress across regions and business segments
- Support organization of virtual and in-person DEI events incl.
ideation, scheduling, communication
- Assist with the development of internal and external DEI
materials for leadership presentations and virtual or in-person DEI
events
- Prepare internal global DEI communications to raise awareness
and promote insights on DEI initiatives incl. drafting, formatting,
and distributing newsletters; preparing and curating internal
marketing materials
- Collect and promote best practices for DEI initiatives from
other Practice Areas in BCG and outside of BCG
- Support other administrative tasks linked to the Industrial
Goods DEI initiative as necessary based on availability and
demand
This is a contract position that will go through until the end of
the year (December 31, 2022)
The candidate will have the opportunity to learn how BCG's
Industrial Goods Practice executes their diversity, equity &
inclusion agenda while gaining work experience in a highly

confidentialYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Education and work experience: BA preferably in DEI related
subjects; preferably 1-2 years of professional experience in a
business setting
- Previous internship or work experience in a larger consultancy,
other professional service firm or Industrial Goods company a
plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including fluent
English language skills
- Experience working in virtual and intercultural teams a
plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and
willingness to learn new tools quickly
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- YOU'LL WORK WITHThe candidate will work closely with the
Industrial Goods Practice Area Management & Operations Team in
Germany, the UK, US and India as well as the Global Industrial
Goods Topic Leader for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in France.
Occasionally, the candidate may work with other BCG entities on
global, regional and local level as needed.
