Candidates must be comfortable to work with multiple clients both virtually and on-site when it is safe to do so; you will interact with clients, their staff, Board of Directors and Finance Committees on a regular basis.Responsibilities:Serve as the outsourced controller/CFO for multiple non-profit clients. Position responsibilities include:Month-end closeJournal EntriesAudit preparation and interact with auditorsBank and account reconciliationsSpreadsheets and analyticsFinancial Reporting, Budgeting and Board/Management ReportsAssist clients with 990 review and necessary support schedulesRecommend/Implement/Improve standard accounting policies and proceduresQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting requiredCPA certification and/or audit experience preferredPassion for working with or supporting non-profit organizationsMinimum of 7 years accounting experienceAbility to manage multiple clients, on-site and remotelyPrior staff management experienceStrong Excel SkillsExperience with multiple GL packages, especially QuickBooksSubmit customized cover letter expressing interest and qualificationsProof of Covid-19 vaccination required as a condition of employmentYPTC Offers:A BEST PLACE TO WORK!
