Job Description:
The Sr. Benefits Analyst is responsible for researching,
analyzing, evaluating, and supporting the administration of Global
health, welfare, and pension plans providing superior customer
service to Aspen Technology employees. Assist with the
implementation of new benefits plans, improve existing programs,
and provide analytical support in the delivery of the benefit
programs. This position assures compliance with the organization's
policies and practices ensuring compliance with country
regulations. Manages the benefit renewal process for each country
and serves as a contributor for specialized projects, supporting
the Director, Global Benefits. The Sr. Benefits Analyst will
support a higher volume of countries in Europe, the Middle East and
Africa.Your Impact:
- Research, analyze, evaluate, and administer corporate benefit
plans and programs helping to eliminate risk and identify changes
that will deliver competitive benefits at the best value
- Monitor benefit trends in the business environment staying
abreast of applicable benefits legislation
- Lead the annual renewal process for each country working with
AspenTech' s consultants on plan renewals
- Supports the administration of Global benefit plans including
but not limited to facilitating plan enrollments, terminations,
reporting, paperwork, and vendor management.
- Develop and update employee communications materials, plan
summaries, summary plan descriptions, brochures, and email
communications
- Consult with employees on questions pertaining to eligibility,
plan provisions, claims and other benefit related information
- Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Payroll, HRIS, Legal,
Procurement, Finance) on renewals, benefit program implementations
and other areas related to global benefits administration
- Assist in the development of the annual budget
- Resolve queries from employees, managers, and the HR
- Support other Benefits initiatives and programs as
required
- Audit current benefits programs to evaluate the usage,
services, coverage, plan experience, and competitive trends and
contributes to the development of specific recommendations and
proposals for change
- Research and prepare ad hoc reports, compiles metrics for
analysis and assists with financial reporting
- Manage the benefits invoicing, payment, reconciliation process,
addressing discrepancies and issue resolution
- Other projects and duties as requiredWhat You'll Need:
- Bachelors degree
- 2-5 years of benefit plan administration experience
- International experience is a plus
- Demonstrated project and program management skills along with
attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong planning, initiative, and resourcefulness with ability
to manage multiple projects concurrently and quickly adapt to
changes in direction
- Experience with web based enrollment and vendor and payroll
integration with benefits system
- Excellent listening, analytical & complex problem solving
skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills are
required
- Flexible and proactive problem solver adept at achieving
results in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Excel and PowerPoint should be a strength; Access is a
plus
- Exceptional analytical abilities, accuracy, and attention to
detail are required
- Strong Project Management skills, ability to prioritize and
