Follow Frontier Medicines on LinkedIn.The Head of Communications will report to the Chief People & Culture Officer and be responsible for an integrated corporate communications vision and strategy, leading execution of all internal communications, and enabling specific 'employer of choice' external communications projects in close collaboration with Executive Team. This role will also work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), to establish and implement a successful investor relations strategy that articulates and supports the Frontier Medicines business and scientific objectives for the investment community and other external audiences.The position will consist of the following main duties:

  • Generate, implement and continually adapt as needed, a robust internal communications strategy to embed our vision and values, enhance employee experience and engagement, progress our diversity, equity and inclusion objectives, and ensure the promise of Frontier's inspiring future is understood for our employees and candidates
  • Evolve company intranet and internal and external digital channels to ensure consistent visual engagement, content relevancy and an engaging user experience
  • Collaborate with executive team to design and facilitate a regular cadence of employee engagement events as well as ad hoc meetings for corporate news (town halls, speaker series, employee messages, etc.)
  • Oversight of communication strategies, including when applicable Investor Relation activities to ensure holistic messaging
  • Enable the communication of key People & Culture programs and events to foster employee engagement
  • Draft internal announcements and communications including email and Q&A documents
  • Partner with External Community Communication initiatives to developing and implementing strong community relationships so we are seen as a strong corporate citizen, and employer of choice
  • Maintain confidentiality as it pertains to scientific data, SEC-protected filings, and other related topics
  • Successful candidate will proactively prepare and execute communications plans and materials that will support the company's reputation by ensuring the organization is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, media, and all other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various functions within the company to develop consistent messaging and flow across all external collateral materials. Requirements
    • 12+ years' experience Corporate Communications/IR experience at a public biotech/pharma/life science company. Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Communications/Public Relations or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Understanding and success with social and digital content/publishing approaches.
    • Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively within the department and across the business to drive and scale communications strategies.
    • Strong grasp of storytelling that can engage and energize employees and support the company's business objectives.
    • Demonstrated experience in delivering on internal communication strategies related to the employee experience and employee life cycle, diversity, people practices, business objectives/vision & values/corporate goals, and culture
    • Strong prioritization and project management, budget and consultant management skills
    • Cross-functional experience leading communication complexity, with the ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders at all levels across functions and levels.
    • Works effectively with employees from all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional managers, research scientists and the general employee population
    • Able to quickly learn the business and handle confidential information.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Concur, and Outlook.
    • Must be able to anticipate needs, be proactive and exercise independent decision-making.
    • Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • A team player - someone who believes and practices that a group working together can accomplish more than any individual alone
    • Experience with existing top-tier media relationships a plus. Benefits
