General Purpose and Scope Performs intermediate to advanced level professional internal auditing work requiring analytical, creative, and critical thinking. Work involves leading or conducting operational, compliance and SOX financial audits. Responsible for identifying process and financial risks and independently evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of financial controls. Maintains all organizational and professional ethical standards. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment, requiring only general supervision for day-to-day tasks. Eligable for a hybrid work model.Internal Audit Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, analyzing evidence and documenting processes and procedures. Identifies, develops and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgement concerning areas being reviewed. Communicates or assists in communicating the results of audits via written reports and oral presentations to management. Develops and maintains productive auditee and staff relationships through individual communications and group meetings. Plans, executes, and evaluates financial internal controls and works collaboratively with management to identify actions needed. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2+ years of audit-related or business experience in internal audit/accountingKnowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its implications on financial auditsKnowledge of internal process control environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office as well as Adobe ProConsiderable skill in effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills and the ability to present findings and recommendationsAbility to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, staff and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environmentAbility to learn new operations quickly and work independentlyExcellent time management and a proactive mindsetStrong analytical skillsSkill in negotiating issues and resolving problems.
