Job Description:

PurposeManage and monitor projects and operations to support interdepartmental goals as well as participates in the development of education materials that are complete, concise and provide an exceptional product to our clientsDuties and Responsibilities

Develop and Implement phase (s) of department training with LHI and Bedford staffResearch projects for escalated billing related concernsCommunicate policies, concerns, etc. between departments Review and monitor team performance and ensure workflows are being followedMonitor team dashboards/reportsPlan, organize, and direct completion on specific projectsFacilitate and attend all department related meetingsLook into billing related issues and research further for updates on procedures and policiesResearch into payer rules and regulations for provider related guidelinesCreate and maintain educational and resource documents Help support different teams including call center, cash posting, contract and auditing, provider enrollment, EDI, ED billing, reimbursement, and operations, in all areas including concerns, billing trends, etcEnsure cooperative team environment by:Effectively communicating with staff about department and company initiativesAdjusting procedures as necessary to create process efficienciesResolving issues among staffEncouraging constructive feedback from staff and between team membersUphold company mission, vision, and valuesProactively monitor company policies and address transgressions appropriatelyMonitor and enforce compliance with all pertinent local, state, and federal laws and regulations relating to operations and employmentComply with all State and Federal Laws regarding an effective Compliance Program inclusive of HIPAA Privacy and SecurityAdhere to the Code of Conduct and be familiar with all compliance policies and procedures stored in LogixGarden relevant to this positionEnsure departmental employees follow the Code of Conduct, compliance policies and proceduresAdminister the appropriate sanction when an employee violates a compliance policy or procedureQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredCoding certification preferredComputer SkillsPrior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word required.ExperiencePrior medical Billing/Coding experience preferredOne or more years related management experience preferredSpecific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability
