Robert Half is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to prepare and process financial statements and accounts and manage all general accounting and bookkeeping essential functions. The strongest candidates for this position will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication tactics, and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. This short-term contract / temporary Full Charge Bookkeeper position is located in Randolph, Massachusetts.What you get to do every single day- Supervising tasks of accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections- Maintaining adherence to federal, state, and local legal requirements by keeping up to date on them, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions- Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules- Carefully filing documents to preserve historical records- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close- Performing reconciliations for bank and general ledgers, as well as payroll processing- Producing the trial balance and financial statements, including, but not limited to, balance sheet and statements of income and of cash flows
