Robert Half is seeking a dedicated Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting for our client's company in the Greater Burlington area. This Controller role is pivotal in managing financial processes, consolidations, and monthly reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage global operations effectively. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Prepare and analyze balance sheets and other financial statements to maintain organizational transparency. • Oversee financial consolidations for global operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. • Develop and present monthly financial reports to senior management, providing actionable insights. • Coordinate document control processes, including scanning and compiling important financial records. • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of document scanning and management systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial strategy and organizational goals. • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering growth and attention to detail in development. • Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets. • Identify and execute process improvements to optimize financial workflows. • Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of balance sheet preparation and analysis. • Familiarity with managing financial operations in a global context. • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver comprehensive monthly financial reports. • Expertise in financial consolidations and compliance standards. • Effective leadership skills with experience in team management. • Proficiency in document control and scanning systems. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
