patients and communities. Position Overview The Practice Medical
Receptionist on the OB/GYN team performs a wide range of
administrative and support functions for the department. They serve
as a primary point of contact for patients and provide excellent
customer service through clear communication. Administrative
responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Handling
all calls appropriately and courteously • Registering patients and
scheduling appointments via Epic • Verifying insurance eligibility
using PASSPORT • Maintaining and supporting both paper and
electronic medical records • Collecting, processing, and
reconciling co-pays to be deposited • Providing financial support
by processing charges, reconciling daily receipts, and identifying
and correcting errors in billing • Assisting direct patient care
providers with electronic and paper correspondence • Participating
on a planned care team and attending departmental meetings
Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required • 1 year of
experience working in an outpatient medical setting preferred •
Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole preferred •
Experience working on a Planned Care Team preferred • Must possess
excellent customer service skills and attention to detail In
