.Position Title: Marketing & Communications CoordinatorReports to: Development DirectorThe Marketing & Communications Coordinator works independently under the supervision of the Director of Development. This position has direct responsibility for marketing, social media, communications, public relations, event marketing, CSF collateral and assists with advancement activities.Skills Required: The ideal candidate is self-directed with excellent interpersonal, writing and oral communication skills. This person must be comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently and independently. Two to five years of marketing and communications or related experience is required. Microsoft Office experience required. Experience using Adobe Photoshop/In Design, as well as WordPress or other website content management systems is a plus.Responsibilities: Marketing and Communications: -- - Develop, manage, plan, and report on all aspects of marketing and communication activities including:o Website, social media, newsletters (both online and print), advertisements, small one-off video projects, Christmas cards, solicit materials, internal collateral, and other marketing projects as neededo Manage Annual Report project, including writing articleso Develop materials to educate staff on communication practices and collect a database of stories-- - Maintain brand presence in Catholic space to ensure CSF is seen as the leading Catholic education non-profit in the Boston area-- - Create and manage all public relations needs including press outreach to local media regarding grants and events-- - Create and distribute press toolkits for grantees to help them market their CSF funding to their local media outlets-- - Develop and implement brand strategy and ensure consistency of useSpecial Events: -- - Coordinate all marketing and communication activities including: program book, invitations, press releases, speeches, electronic communications, promo and event videos and other as needed.o Events include Corporate Trivia Night, Annual Dinner Gala, School's Out Summer Celebration, Annual Bus Tour, and other one-off events as neededDevelopment Create, develop or coordinate all materials for development use. These include: pamphlets, solicit materials, informational materials, postcards and etc.Support the development team with other administrative tasks as needed and other duties as called uponFull-time, exempt position.
