SEO & Social Media Marketing Analyst ensures that 1-Stop Designs clients are maximizing their online footprint, impact and social media efforts by helping to support broader awareness of their services or products, and marketing activities online. Uses website analytics, social media analytics, data visualization tools, and careful testing and iteration to help 1-Stop Design reach our clients goals.The SEO & Social Media Marketing Analyst will be an integral part of 1-Stop Designs clients ambitious communications and marketing efforts, and will have major responsibility for the design, implementation, and analysis of national marketing campaigns, social media activities, search engine marketing (SEM) efforts, and search engine optimization (SEO). The Analyst will become a go-to source for day-to-day digital analytics questions and requests from the Communications department and broader Institute and will serve as a consultant to help other departmental staffers improve the effectiveness of their website activities and online presence.The MUSTS

  • Education: stays current with the latest developments in Google Analytics, social media, SEO and SEM, and other related digital marketing trends
  • Bachelors degree in related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, (especially Google), social media marketing and/or business intelligence is required
  • Experience with Google Data Studio, or similar data visualization tool
  • At least two years of experience managing PPC campaigns
  • Lead writing and testing ad copy, landing pages, and anything else that might impact the client journey
  • Conversant in SEO best practices, SEO Standards, XML Sitemap creation, Search Console, Google Developer & APIs
  • Google Ads (PPC): Google AdWords Advanced Search Certification, ideal, unless you have solid experience
  • Strategically build, manage, and optimize search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns, primarily on Google Ads, including, but not limited to:
  • Bid Management (Including creating custom automated bidding rules and regional or schedule-based bid adjustments)
  • Setting up Conversion Tracking
  • Performing and analyzing the results of A/B tests
  • Analyze campaign performance with information from multiple data sources and make data-based optimizations & recommendations
  • Create performance reports with recommendations for improvements based upon data analysis
  • Lend insight into the optimization of client landing pages
  • Forecast budgets, campaign size, and conduct keyword research
  • Build out accounts from the ground up,
  • Consistently meet and exceed minimum levels of performance on metrics like CTR, CPC, Conversion rate, etc
  • Manage or assist with the management of Facebook and other social media advertising campaigns Daily management of campaign performance and budget pacing
  • Weekly report on performance and campaign progress
  • Supervise the competitive landscape and seek to understand industry trends
  • Drive CPA performance and not just optimize within Google for it but look at qualified vs non-qualified leads to optimize PPC program; this part is key
  • Passion for all things digital
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of UTM codes
  • Experience with SEO/SEM

    • SEO & Social Media Marketing Analyst will be an integral part of 1-Stop Designs communications and marketing efforts, and will have major responsibility for the design, implementation, and analysis of both regional and national marketing campaigns, social media activities, search engine marketing (SEM) efforts, and search engine optimization (SEO)
    • Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities. Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors.
    • Create social strategies and preparing detailed strategy reports for content development in coordination with SEO goals
    • Help to create and support marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos, blog posts, posts from other sources and customers)
    • Website Traffic Analysis: suggest improvements for greater effectiveness and performance on our main website and other web properties
    • Tracking and Testing: help implement appropriate tracking methods to measure digital initiatives and identify AB testing opportunities to encourage a culture of continuous improvement
    • SEO: develop strategy, recommendations, competitive analysis, and content/metadata improvements
    • SEM: consult, develop, monitor, and improve online marketing campaigns
    • Social Media Strategy and Campaign Management: design, monitor and improve efforts to grow reach and effectiveness on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and elsewhere
    • Reporting: report regularly to leadership and various clients on web site performance, social media, project development, timelines, results, and recommendations
    • Benchmarking: compare and keep track of 1-Stop Designs clients online activities and performance against industry standards, leaders, and peers
    • Reports to Manager of Digital Insights and Analytics
    • Act as a liaison with agencies in campaign delivery and reporting; Review reporting, creative, and tracking methods for consistency and accuracy
    • Attends regularly scheduled phone calls with vendors and advises leadership to inform decision-making
    • Contribute to newsletter testing and optimization; Track results of mailing to drive design, headline, and content recommendations
    • Stay current with the latest developments in mobile/web design practices
    • Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities. Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors.
    • Using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business, Google Data Studio and Yext to watch performance and assist in building reports.
    • Adjust strategies if performance calls for it.Additional Responsibilities:
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
      • Scheduling social media posts using several posting platforms
      • Knowledge of Blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other popular channels
      • Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
      • Writing powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors
      • Keeping up to date on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid. Stay within search engine guidelines
      • Yext: Setup and implementation, reporting and monitoring, using as a tool
      • 1-2 years experience with using WordPress
