By joining our team at Lexington Medical, you will have the opportunity to impact the lives of millions of patients worldwide.To accelerate our growth trajectory, we are seeking a Vice President (VP) of Marketing, to develop and implement a global marketing strategy that establishes Lexington Medical as the gold standard in surgical stapling products. The VP of Marketing will lead all US and Global marketing functions and collaborate closely with Product Engineering, Operations, and Sales leadership to understand the customer, create commensurate marketing strategies and campaigns to drive sales growth, and increase profitability, and customer satisfaction. The leader in this role will be responsible for the strategy and execution that scales Lexington Medical into a world-class brand.What you will do:Establish global marketing plan, annual budget, and KPIs to drive and evaluate upstream and downstream marketing performance.Set strategy, positioning, and messaging for Lexington Medical products that drive brand awareness and engagement, incremental revenue growth, differentiation in the marketplace, and align with strategic business goals.Responsible for a high level of collaboration with the Product Engineering, Operations, and Sales teams, as well as oversight of downstream campaign development to identify and act on key customer insights and industry trendsBuild and execute a demand generation strategy, including strategic content creation and creative execution of all Lexington Medical marketing programs and should result in a significant and forecastable qualified lead pipeline.Bring quantitative and qualitative insights to leadership to influence marketing strategy and inform executional tactics that will resonate with our target consumerDevelop marketing strategies to drive exposure and business performance/growth with a passion for brand narrativePartner with the Lexington Medical Sales team on ideation and execution of high-impact sales enablement materialsWork closely with the Product Engineering team to develop go-to-market strategies, including innovation pipeline, and key product claimsEstablish processes, KPIs, reports, and various documents to measure the commercial effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaignsResponsible for market and competitive research including Key Opinion Leader activities, Voice of Customer/Voice of Consumer, Customer Satisfaction research and other engagement activities to drive customer, consumer/patient, and competitive insightsManage a team that develops and executes strategic marketing plans and act as the primary point of contact for Sales seeking marketing initiatives intended to increase brand awareness and drive revenueManages a team that maintains corporate imaging and branding standards; ensure consistency of content, messaging and look-and-feel with company positioning and branding.Requirements:Bachelor's or advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field8+ years of progressive marketing experience2+ years of sales, business development, and/or commercial experience within medical devices or healthcare technology sales advantageousManagement/supervisory experience with proven team/consensus building skillsDemonstrated translation of data into insights or implications that impact strategyStrong analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting/financial skillsExperience with e-commerce and fundamentals of SEO/SEMMust work well under pressure and within tight timelines and shifting prioritiesProduct launch experienceExperience collaborating with field sales teamsStartup experience strongly preferred.Must possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify risks, provide market insights, and draw valid conclusions from findings using available dataExperience with CRM database and customer analytics is essential; experience working within the Salesforce.com ecosystem a plusAccomplished track record of building and scaling disruptive/innovative medical brands through traditional and digital marketing strategiesStrong planning and analytical skills and experience integrating a strategic vision into an operational model with the ability to deliver insightful ideas and draw findings from figures
