About the Role:We are looking for a data-driven leader who enjoys analyzing data and making it come alive through visualizations and compelling storytelling. Utilizing large datasets at your disposal, you will partner with your clients to understand and improve their customer experience to drive bottom line growth. As a member of our Analytics team, or "lead singers" as our CEO likes to say, you will work directly with all functions across our company - including marketing, data, product teams, and executive leadership. And as a member of Customer Portfolios, your work will have broad business impact on both our clients and on our analytical product offerings.About Customer Portfolios:Customer Portfolios is a marketing technology leader that empowers its clients to maximize the value of each customer. The Customer Portfolios team of analytical and marketing experts help companies like Johnston & Murphy, Frye, Extended Stay America, and others to consistently drive revenue growth and increased customer lifetime value.What we'd like you to do:

  • Build, manage and motivate a Marketing Analyst team directly responsible for translating complex analytics for our clients.
  • Lead data analytic projects and the delivery of those results, facilitate team discussions around reporting and analytic strategies, and provide expertise in the development, usability and presentation of data.
  • Collaborate with product leaders to conceptualize and implement new analytic products. -
  • Translate complex analytics tasks into concise and easily consumable outputs to help senior executives and stakeholders make data driven decisions.
  • Lead incorporation of actionable metrics into strategic and tactical plans and roadmap initiatives.
  • Demonstrate data visualization (Tableau, SSRS, Excel) and analytical tools (Python, R) to present business insights from large datasets. - - What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with proven success in designing analytical approaches to understand key business behaviors that drive acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Excellent management skills with proven ability to identify, recruit, develop and retain top talent.
  • Thought leadership with skills with the ability to partner with the business to deliver high quality service and results. -
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required to interact with all levels of management, including key stakeholders and executive management teams.
  • Strong business operations, project management, initiative, problem solving, time management and organizational skills. -
  • High degree of technical competency required
  • SQL- on the job experience using SQL to manipulate and summarize large data sets from multiple sources. The bulk of our work is done in SQL.
  • Tableau- on the job experience with creating dynamic Tableau dashboardsBonus (to help us expand into the next phase of our company):
  • Experience with modern statistical learning methods (regression techniques, classification models, supervised and unsupervised learning, etc.) using Python/R
  • Knowledge of digital data technologies (DMPs, Google Analytics, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, etc.) -Powered by JazzHR
