Reporting to the Director of Client Communications, the Senior Specialist supports Client Communications Managers and the Director in managing communications for designated programs. They may manage communications for a small clinical program under supervision of Manager or Director.Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute brings together world renowned clinicians, innovative researchers and dedicated professionals, allies in the common mission of conquering cancer, HIV/AIDS and related diseases.   • Independently manages program/event communications support that supports outreach to internal and external target audiences
  • Attends meetings with clinical program leaders, develops meeting recaps
  • Regularly reviews clinical program website(s) and suggest updates
  • Regularly reviews website analytics with Manager/Director
  • Develops content ideas for content marketing and draft social media posts to support program's communications initiatives
  • Writes website or physician communications content to strengthen reputation and support clinical volume growth
  • Understands Dana-Farber's communications channels and how to leverage them to reach various audiences
  • Performs other duties as assignedMINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 3 years of relevant experience required
    • Agency experience a plusKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
      • Knowledge of Microsoft Office program suite
      • Knowledge of marketing communications and various communications channels opportunities
      • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
      • Ability to work with multiple managers and navigate priorities
      • Strong oral and written communications skills
      • Ability to identify appropriate communications channels to support communications goals
      • Ability to work independently with program coordinators or managers and report back to Manager/AD
