Job Description:
Overview:
Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of foundational
product materials - ensuring accuracy and timeliness for U.S.
business units. Collect and compile key information for team,
assist Product with special projects and resolve any
issues/challenges in a proactive, professional manner. Adhere to
and exemplify policies/expectations pertaining to affiliate and
internal business partner relationships. This is a hybrid role
based in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
--- Prepare, update, and maintain large volumes of marketing
materials in support of marketing/sales, including but not limited
to performance communications: fact sheets, pitchbooks, and
commentaries.
--- Gather and coordinate data. Work with various departments to
lead projects from inception through completion, ensuring accuracy,
consistency, and speed-to-market.
--- Responsible for any/all assigned affiliate/channel/business
unit collateral.
--- Maintain database of completed marketing materials and other
required information.
--- Interact effectively with all internal business partners,
including compliance, Design, Sales, Fulfillment, ISG, Product.
--- Work in partnership with Channel Account Managers to ensure
content and standard processes are demonstrated across all
channels, as appropriate.
--- Help facilitate and work within framework of quarter-end
responsibilities. Assist in planning/implementing quarterly updates
of all performance collateral under tight time limits, ensuring
updates prior to any data expiration.
--- Proactively improve and build knowledge of investment industry
and asset management business through training offered internally,
externally, through conference opportunities, sales call listening,
etc.
--- Bring a degree of expertise on marketing audiences relative to
certain product content types.
--- Be adept at coupling product and audience knowledge to then
help drive product content strategy.
--- Seek out and participate in regular product training via
internal channels, affiliate programs Maintain responsibility for
self-training on products and product types.
--- Think critically about process and responsibilities. Ask
questions and make decisions based on need for increased efficiency
and improved speed to market.
Qualifications:
--- 1-2+ years industry experience, ideally in marketing
communications.
--- Previous experience working for an asset manager with an
understanding of various investment vehicles such as mutual funds,
ETFs, and separately managed accounts.
--- An appetite for improving investment and product knowledge.
--- Bachelor's degree required (experience in marketing or finance
preferred).
--- Team-based, with proven track record to complete tasks
independently.
--- Proactive and results oriented; innovative.
--- Collaborative, creative, and open mind to idea exchange.
--- Demonstrated project and time management skills.
--- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
--- Proficient to expert in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
--- Experience with Workfront, AdTrax and Adobe a plus.
