WHAT YOU''LL DO
The Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Practice Area is one of BCG''s industry practice areas, globally serving cutting-edge clients in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications space. We are seeking a strong co-op candidate to support the Global TMT team in two capacities: supporting the TMT Knowledge Team, a group of subject matter experts that advise case teams and clients, and the TMT People Team, a team that supports our consulting pyramid. This position will support the needs of our rapidly growing and expanding business including: Tracking progress against Key Performance Indicators: Defining priorities, tracking performance and working with leaders to define action areas Developing and driving a communications plan: Identifying the right communications cadence (meetings, newsletters) for the KT team, and building a senior stakeholder engagement plan Developing and driving a meeting cadence for the team: Helping plan and execute monthly global calls and in-person meetings as needed Managing Knowledge Team expenses and contracts: Tracking monthly invoices and plan how to cover costs with KT output. Creating models to analyze data of people in TMT: Building data analysis models to optimize TMT Practice Area efficiency and impact. Publicize Knowledge Team tools and innovations: Broadcasting Newsletters with KT insights and time-saving tools to the wider TMT Practice Area to enhance Case Team output. You will also have the opportunity to interface with colleagues across each of our 3 sectors as well as our Finance, People and Marketing teams as well as other BCG functions, e.g. Recruiting, HR etc.
YOU''RE GOOD AT
Working collaboratively and flexibly with senior colleagues across the globe Data analysis and basic modelling using MS Excel Professional communication and interpersonal skills, including strong, clear verbal communication, crisp writing skills for large audiences and familiarity with structured powerpoint presentations for senior leaders Organized and detail-oriented - able to manage your own agenda and deliverables with discipline - strong sense of ownership and very outcome orientated Confident and able to engage with senior leaders Flexibility to work with a global team
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in Northeastern University and approved by the university to participate in the January to June 2024 co-op cycle Preference for someone working on a BS/BA in Business Previous commercial internship experience in Consulting or related fields is considered an asset, but not a requirement Desire to learn quickly and high level of resourcefulness and initiative Passion for the TMT space Strong academic performance Strong MS Office suite experience - Excel and PowerPoint Ability to work in fast-paced environment Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program

A team that is committed to working with the leading Telecommunications, Media and Technology companies to solve some of the world's biggest challenges. Our Knowledge Team is globally dispersed and works together virtually using collaboration tools including Slack and Zoom. You will work with the Knowledge Business Director (based in Denver) and Sector experts (located across the Globe), as well as the Global Practice Director (based in Hong Kong).
