Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing, developing and testing
sophisticated software; working alongside MATLAB application
deployment developers to resolve customer integration issues;
performing software engineering including programming in C/C++,
Java, C# and Python, troubleshooting, software integration,
multi-threading and multi-processing across Windows, Linux and OS X
systems; resolving advanced technical issues and providing
technical advice for MathWorks customers; and contributing to
development activities, proposing innovative solutions and
developing prototypes to address customer needs and influence the
direction of MathWorks products. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering and no experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five
(5) years of experience delivering technical customer support for
integration with MATLAB toolboxes. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in object oriented programming in C/C++
and MATLAB; and developing and debugging software applications in
C/C++ using Visual Studio and MATLAB within a multiplatform
environment Windows, Linux and Mac. Demonstrated expertise in development, testing, and technical
support of MATLAB applications; integrating MATLAB applications
with MATLAB toolboxes -- Image Processing, Instrument Control, and
Computer Vision; and integrating MATLAB with C/C++ programming
languages in the electronics, manufacturing systems, image
processing, and machine learning industries. Demonstrated expertise collecting business requirements and
developing technical customer support demonstrations and training
materials of MATLAB-based software. Demonstrated expertise engaging with MATLAB end users --
engineers and software developers -- to gather and assess customer
requirements, understand workflows, and define solutions for
customer needs; and interacting with development teams to influence
product direction and improve products by demonstrating customers
use cases and pain points, proposing solutions, or developing
