Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing, developing and testing
sophisticated software used by customers in the control systems
domain; building new products and capabilities on Simulink, the
Companys flagship product used for designing, modeling, simulating,
and analyzing dynamic systems and control systems; building
large-scale multi-domain real-world systems; performing
requirements gathering, designing, coding and debugging; developing
high-quality and well-architected software; building high-quality
web-based graphical editors by leveraging web technology skills;
working with internal and external customers in defining
requirements, workflows, priorities, and features; and
collaborating with a cross-functional team involving quality
engineers, architects, marketing, user experience and other
development teams and creatively inventing new solutions.
Education and Experience:
Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and no experience.
Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in
job offered or five (5) years of experience in development, testing
or technical support of Simulink-based applications.
Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB, Simulink, and C++
Demonstrated expertise performing controls system design and
analysis in MATLAB and Simulink.
Demonstrated expertise using model based design to integrate
multiple systems, including robust and non-linear control,
reinforcement learning, path planning, sensor fusion, and motion
Demonstrated expertise in the full software development life
cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, functional design,
architecture design, implementation, and testing, according to
scrum-based Agile methodologies.
