Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
tests for software used by customers in the mechanical engineering
(control systems) domain; developing software testing tools for the
core functionality of Simulink a graphical programming environment
for modeling simulating and analyzing multi-domain dynamical
systems; testing Simulink examples; developing infrastructure and
tests to ensure these examples work properly; participating in all
aspects of the development process including writing and
maintaining infrastructure for example testing and devising new
strategies for example testing; collaborating with other software
engineers in test to improve existing examples testing;
collaborating with infrastructure teams to improve example creation
and testing; monitoring health of examples testing; and devising
metrics to analyze quality of example testing. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics and two (2) years of
experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience in testing
or mathematical modeling and design of automotive or
hybrid-electric powertrain systems. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics and six (6) years of
experience in job offered or six (6) years of experience in testing
or mathematical modeling and design of automotive or
hybrid-electric powertrain systems. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise using Simulink to model thermal
management systems in the automotive industry. Demonstrated expertise developing algorithms for power-split
control strategy using dynamic programming algorithms. Demonstrated expertise developing control algorithms using
MATLAB and Simulink. Demonstrated expertise developing experimental tests to verify
