Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing, developing and testing
sophisticated software; developing optimized deep learning
algorithms and using automatic code generation techniques in MATLAB
to support targeting embedded GPU, CPU and Micro-controller
devices; implementing efficient algorithms for deep learning layers
in MATLAB and enabling optimized C++/CUDA code generation for these
layers; developing compiler optimizations, quantization
methodologies and hardware-aware optimizations for deep learning
applications; exploring and developing new compression strategies
and optimization techniques for enabling fast and efficient deep
learning inference on edge; participating in all aspects of the
software development cycle, design, development, and testing; and
contributing to the best practices for MathWorks' development
processes. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise programming in C++ and MATLAB. Demonstrated expertise developing deep learning applications
using Halide or TVM code generation technologies for C++ and CUDA
code generation. Demonstrated expertise applying statistical methods -- linear
algebra, probability, and mathematical optimization -- and machine
learning methods -- classification and regression -- to build
statistical tools and machine learning applications. Demonstrated expertise applying deep learning algorithms to
design and develop computer vision and image processing
