Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing, developing and testing
sophisticated software; developing and supporting Simulink software
used by customers to model and simulate dynamic systems including
automobiles, airplanes and spacecraft; designing algorithms to
control dynamic software systems and converting algorithms into
code; developing and supporting Simulink infrastructure so that
customers can seamlessly integrate external C/C++ code into
Simulink; applying knowledge of C++ programming, data structures,
object-oriented design, and user workflows to enhance Simulink's
core infrastructure and modeling capabilities; and designing and
implementing new product features and working collaboratively with
a cross functional team for the release of these features to our
customers. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years
of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience in the
full software development life cycle (SDLC) in an Agile
environment. OR Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented design and analysis,
including writing algorithms, applying design patterns, and
programming in C++, MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow. Demonstrated expertise using Boost and C++ Standard Template
Library (STL) data structures for code optimization and data
storage; and applying algorithms for code optimization and code
reuse. Demonstrated expertise performing custom code integration of
legacy C/C++ code with Simulink for simulation and code
generation. Demonstrated expertise using model-based design and simulation
technologies to develop infrastructure for simulation and code
