Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
testing software; developing software to qualify new features,
applications and tools; developing and executing automated and
interactive tests; participating in design reviews; developing test
plans; reporting defects and verifying fixes; debugging and
troubleshooting failures; developing software to support database
testing using SQL queries; performing automated test development
for JavaScript applications; and using scripting languages
including Perl and Python within Windows and UNIX/LINUX
systems. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer
Information Systems and Information Technology, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years
of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience
developing and executing automated test scripts and test
suites. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise testing web-based applications using
Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python and VB Script; and in
object-oriented programming, design, and analysis using
JavaScript. Demonstrated expertise designing and developing testing
frameworks -- Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Protractor, Superagent
and Jest -- using JavaScript to ensure product performance and
security. Demonstrated expertise designing and developing test strategies
and test procedures based upon functional and design
specifications; writing automated test plans and cases using
JavaScript; and analyzing and reporting bugs using JIRA to liaise
with developers on bug fixes. Demonstrated expertise implementing test frameworks and code
coverage tools to streamline quality engineering processes; and
performing continuous integration, including analysis and
implementation of branching strategies using Git, SVN, or
