Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing, developing and testing
sophisticated software; developing software to identify and resolve
performance issues at every stage in the development cycle;
investigating performance in MATLAB and Simulink family of
products; developing statistical inference tools with large data
sets to automatically identify performance issues; working closely
with other software engineering teams to address performance
issues; and developing and maintaining automated testing and
reporting infrastructure using state-of-the-art technology
including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and MySQL database. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in design and development of scalable web
applications, including using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ReactJS for
front-end development and developing backend applications using
NodeJS framework. Demonstrated expertise developing, debugging and refactoring
large JavaScript and MATLAB codebases (200K+ lines of code); and
developing and debugging MySQL database queries and stored
procedures. Demonstrated expertise performing version control and continuous
integration; and in software configuration management and version
control system management including analysis and implementation of
branching strategies using Perforce or Git. Demonstrated expertise in the full software development life
cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, functional design,
architecture design, implementation, and testing of MATLAB and web
