Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of
MathWorks sophisticated engineering products to customers across a
range of industries; leading the business and strategy for
MathWorks real-time products; designing and developing
sophisticated software product models and simulations to
demonstrate MathWorks product capabilities in real-time embedded
systems; collecting and synthesizing customer requirements to help
drive product strategy; collaborating with the development team to
communicate product requirements; helping engineering teams to
innovate and create sophisticated embedded systems for the
automotive, aerospace, medical, industrial automation, and related
industries; working with stakeholders to develop product roadmaps
and assess new features and business models; planning and leading
product and feature introductions and supporting the sales and
technical field organizations; developing web presence and planning
and monitoring marketing programs to promote products; and closely
collaborating and coordinating with MathWorks Speedgoat real-time
hardware partner. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years
of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience using
MATLAB and Simulink, and Simulink Real-Time in development and
technical support of physical modeling, controls algorithms, and
hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation. OR Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years
of experience in job offered or six (6) years of experience using
MATLAB and Simulink, and Simulink Real-Time in development and
technical support of physical modeling, controls algorithms, and
hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in development and modeling of embedded
systems in the automotive, aerospace, medical, and industrial
automation industries. Demonstrated expertise using MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, PLECS,
SPICE, Speedgoat, and dSPACE to model and simulate embedded systems
and perform hardware testing. Demonstrated expertise building physical models and implementing
control systems including testing and validating control design to
support model-based design workflows. Demonstrated expertise developing presentations and technical
reports on engineering and model-based design topics for scientific
review; and presenting work at conferences and technical
workshops. [Experience and/or expertise may be gained during Graduate
