Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for developing and executing software tests to
identify software problems and their causes for sophisticated
software; developing cutting edge software to solve challenging
testing problems and test full stack web applications;
participating in the full software development lifecycle;
developing automated test suites, conducting hands-on testing, and
fully qualifying business critical applications and REST web
services; defining test strategies, and designing, coding,
debugging, refactoring, and deploying test automation solutions;
testing web services, applications, UI and APIs; participating in
all technical reviews including functional, test design,
documentation and code reviews; designing, debugging, creating and
maintaining automated test suites; participating in functional,
system and regression testing activities; analyzing and reporting
bugs; and collaborating with other teams and fostering continuous
process improvement. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise developing automation GUI test suites
using Java, JUnit and Selenium. Demonstrated expertise testing RESTful web services using Java
and JUnit and using Postman as a Rest Client. Demonstrated expertise in writing SQL queries for data
validation; and working within an Agile environment following SCRUM
methodologies. Demonstrated expertise using Maven for build automation; and
using Perforce or Git to maintain code within a continuous
