Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
software; developing tools used to build report generators for
Model-Based design, analysis, and testing systems; programming in
C++, MATLAB, XML, JavaScript and HTML; maintaining and enhancing
report generation APIs; developing report generation software;
serving as an evangelist and consultant to other teams wishing to
create report generators themselves; spearheading development of a
company-wide standard for report formatting and interoperability;
designing and implementing libraries of application-specific report
program objects, for example, objects for reporting on dynamic
system and financial models; and helping designing and implementing
a next-generation, drag-and-drop interactive report program builder
that can run in the Cloud. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in object oriented programming in C++,
Java, and MATLAB; and in back-end algorithm development using
C++. Demonstrated expertise in UI and interactive graphical design or
testing using JavaScript, HTML, AJAX and CSS. Demonstrated expertise performing web design and development
including designing rich internet content using HTML, CSS, and
JavaScript; and developing web application communication interfaces
in human- and machine-readable formats using JSON and XML. Demonstrated expertise developing and testing object oriented
code on Windows or Linux systems using debugging and IDE tools --
Eclipse, Emacs, or Visual Studio -- and Chrome developer tools and
using interfaces implemented in multiple languages -- JavaScript
