Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
software for small, self-contained projects, in compliance with
established architecture standards; developing moderately-complex
software to support the front-end of Simulink's code generation
environment; participating in all aspects of product development
from requirements gathering and design to implementation,
qualification and validation; streamlining workflows and
implementing user-interfaces that work on both desktop and web;
adding high performance backend services to complement the
front-end; implementing frontend (UI and API) and backend services;
and documenting and communicating ideas within team and across
other teams. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. OR Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years
of experience as a Software Engineer (or related occupation)
performing UI development. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in model-based design using MATLAB and
Simulink. Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented design and analysis
using C++ and MATLAB, including analyzing, re-architecting and
implementing C++ or MATLAB code. Demonstrated expertise performing version control and continuous
integration; and in software configuration management and version
control system management including analysis and implementation of
