Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for writing components of technical
documentation for engineering products; creating written content
for software products related to signal processing systems; writing
user-focused content that explains how to use tools to design,
model, and simulate engineering systems; and developing examples
and tutorials that show how to use software features that span
multiple products. Education and Experience: Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and no
experience. OR Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely
related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years
of experience as a Technical Writer (or related occupation)
performing technical writing, teaching, or development of
communication system or signal processing simulation software. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB and Simulink and
performing model-based simulation to solve real-world problems in
the signal processing, communication systems, artificial
intelligence, and control systems domains. Demonstrated expertise developing software platforms for signal
processing or communication systems using MATLAB. Demonstrated expertise performing engineering technical writing
using graphics software and markup language -- XML or LaTeX. Demonstrated expertise teaching, training, or tutoring in MATLAB
