Job Description:
Develop network device drivers under embedded Linux and C in an
Embedded Linux Environment. Develop, test, validate, and maintain rpms
for Fedora Kernels. Perform OS/Kernel optimizations, performance tuning,
and porting of existing applications across multiple vendor hardware and
software platforms. Develop networking protocol specific applications and
optimize code for multicore environment. Analyze requirements, design,
develop, document, test, implement, and support device drivers and
associated modules for embedded Linux monitoring agents. Ensure security of
source code from vulnerabilities, as well as audit, patch, and
archive vulnerabilities. Work with clients in order to secure and
mitigate vulnerabilities, as well as troubleshoot and resolve complex
network problems and product issues. Utilize tools to design and develop
reports for InfiniStream Solutions. Develop stand-alone security patches
for vulnerabilities. Investigate and develop virtualization
solutions for existing hardware and shared compute infrastructure. Contribute
to the development and ongoing improvement of Technical Support
procedures and infrastructure. Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign
education equivalent) and no experience. Or alternatively, a Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or
related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 5
years of experience developing networking protocol-specific applications.
Also requires the following skills: (1) Demonstrated expertise (DE)
utilizing cryptography and algorithms including RFA and DH to ensure the
secure transmission of data and generate public/private keys; (2) DE
applying network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, TCP, and OSI Models to
implement GBN and ensure encryption/decryption of network data;; (3) DE
developing, testing, validating, and maintaining rpms for Fedora Kernels in
a Unix or Linux operating system; and, (4) DE leveraging Java, Python, and
Bash scripting to develop and establish a communication system and
