Job Description:
Oversees project implementations and enhancements across complex
enterprise business processes and systems. Guides junior team members through the multiple phases of an Enterprise Application
Project, including: analysis, development, testing, deployment,
and support. Works with key users from multiple PTC business groups
to identify business process improvements, gather specialized requirements, and design solutions which provide effective
solutions to meet business needs and industry “best practices.â€
Serves as primary interface between business operations and technical
teams. Responsible for cascading knowledge and clear requirements
to junior team members. Partners with business owners to identify
and prioritize information and translate business requirements
into systems solutions. Supports the Finance organization in the
closing of all transactions for monthly and quarterly cycles and
for the final closing of the Fiscal year according to SEC standards for all
global operations across Enterprise Applications. Consults with
business and IT partners to strategize, plan, and implement projects within
designated time and budget constraints. Performs business
process mapping and gap analysis. Coordinates with the Development team
and other group managers throughout the development lifecycle
to ensure requirements are developed and delivered according to
specifications and within technical limitations for Cloud
applications and SaaS systems. Facilitates discussions with user groups
concerning using system solutions to enable new business
initiatives. Researches implementation alternatives and provides design
recommendations to both the user community and technical teams.
Verifies configuration and functionality within applications. Education & Experience Requirements: Master's degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology or related field (willing to
accept foreign education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience
creating business, functional, and test requirements for software
implementation. Or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) and 5 years of experience creating business, functional, and test
requirements for software implementation. Experience must include 3 years in each of the following skills:
(1) Eliciting software requirements from cross-functional
stakeholders and transforming them into tailored product specifications; (2)
Developing project plans to manage time constraints, resource
planning, and identifying methods or tools required for project execution;
and, (3) Preparing business requirements, functional designs, and
process and application system flow documents for software implementation
