round employees POSITION SUMMARY The Lift Maintenance Mechanic
II/III ensures safe, reliable lift transportation by performing
year-round mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting
issues during operations, and making operational decisions based on
conditions. The Lift Maintenance Mechanic II/III will be
responsible for leading the daily crew independently and
successfully. This is a year-round, benefit eligible position. The
compensation range for this role is $26.00 - $32.00/hr. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES - Year-round mechanical and electrical maintenance on all
types of tramways - Responsible for accurate & timely record
keeping including monthly & daily operational checks, work orders,
parts inventory for all jobs - Responsible for training lift
operators and lift maintenance staff - Complete daily duties as
assigned by the Lift Maintenance Supervisor - Make lists of parts
and service needed - Work on and assist with lift construction
projects - Read and understand service books, prints, and drawings
- Troubleshoot various lift issues - Practice safe rigging
techniques - Drive all types of vehicles - Maintain a clean and
safe work environment at all times in accordance with OSHA
guidelines - Attend staff meetings and training as required by the
resort - Continuously learn new technical information and
techniques in order to stay current with rapidly changing
technology - Effectively able to plan and predict upcoming
maintenance - Assist with state inspections - Attend service
schools and teachings - Must effectively communicate with team,
management, and various departments (lifts, grooming, activities,
snowmaking, etc.) - Additional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS,
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS - High School Diploma or
equivalent - Vermont Tramway School level 1 & 2 - 4-6 years
experience in Lift Maintenance - Licenses must be issued in the
country or state in which the employee works, unless exceptions
have been approved by a Senior Leader - Valid driver's license -
Experience with heavy equipment, vehicles, machine shop, & power
tools - Must be able to lift 60 lbs. unassisted - Must be able to
perform maintenance at high heights in all weather conditions -
Ability to learn and to teach others - Strong communication skills
- Able to multitask and stay organized PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING
CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends
and holidays. To perform this job successfully, an individual must
