Job Description Job Description Mover Norwood, MA | $20-$23/hr Job Description We are currently looking for a general laborer that will be moving furniture and material out of damaged buildings. This role requires strong experience in laboring as well as a personal vehicle to get to job sites. This role will require heavy lifting and working in areas where there has been damage from fire, water, and mold. The starting pay rate will be between $20 - $23 an hour. Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week. This position is a 6 month contract to hire out of the Norwood, MA area. Responsibilities Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow company safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Document work performed as required by company standards. Essential Skills Construction experience Restoration knowledge Mechanical aptitude Proficiency with power tools Ability to operate heavy equipment Carpentry skills General labor proficiency Remediation techniques Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in construction, restoration, or related field is a plus. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to work in varying conditions (heat, cold, confined spaces). Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Walpole, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
