you will be doing: Review and analyze construction drawings,
specifications, and bid documents. Prepare and assist with detailed
quantity takeoffs, estimates, and proposals. Organize, review, and
level subcontractor bids and proposals. Support development of
project budgets and preliminary schedules. Understand contracts,
scopes of work, and pricing structures. Participate in client
meetings and preconstruction discussions. Collaborate with senior
estimators and project management teams. Experience you will need:
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and
specifications. Understanding of construction methods and
materials. Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets. Familiarity with
CAD software preferred. Strong written and verbal communication
skills. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering,
Architecture, or related field preferred. Prior construction or
estimating experience required. 7 years of experience in Commercial
Construction Estimating preferred. Minimum 3 years estimating
experience considered.
