Job Description:
Agile Coach Scrum Master and Product Lead (The Boston Consulting
Group, Inc. - Boston, Massachusetts): Lead the Agile transformation
and drive product vision, design and future roadmap in alignment
with BCGs overall strategy as well as other firm initiatives.
Specific duties include: drive prioritization of user centered
design with a focus on user experience as a key focus for the Agile
product team; facilitate discovery sessions through various
techniques to understand the business context, user intent,
solution objectives, and expected impact; effectively manage
stakeholders' expectations while building credibility with senior
stakeholders; drive team and individual adoption and improvements
in Agile methods and practices; serve as teams Scrum Master and
Agile coach to support initiatives for our internal product team.
Requires a Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Electronics and Computer Technology, Information
Technology or related field (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience in business analysis
working in a product development environment. specific skills/other
requirements - must also possess the following (quantitative
experience requirements not applicable to this section): working
within a search product development environment as a Scrum Master;
strong understanding of user-centered design principles and
techniques used to develop wireframes and other user provocation
tools to facilitate user journey and user requirement gathering;
experience with the implementation and ongoing enhancements to
search products and solutions; leading team members in both product
development and requirements gathering efforts; documenting
business requirements and conveying user stories to technical team
in an agile product development environment; driving change and
continuous improvement to ensure team is quick to accept agile
work; experience in agile coaching, scrum and/or lean processes;
and working with agile methodologies and defining appropriately
sized work-items on sprint by sprint basis, capturing desired
functionality in story format, including detailed story criteria
and subtasks. Travel required (up to 30%) based on client/company
