Job Description:

Duties: Coordinate flexible software engineering resources, both onsite and

offsite, from our Joint Software Development (JSD) partners to support

ongoing product development projects. Define scope, develop module designs,

provide technical guidance, and drive delivery of outsourced projects with

JSD partners. Define mission and roadmap to build and verify software with

JSD partners from ground up. Responsible for driving continuous improvement

in development processes and collaborating with other functions. Lead a

small internal team to develop and enhance internal software development

environment, such as SVN, JIRA and build tools. Develop, maintain, and

enhance internal software tools utilized by cross-functional teams as

internal products. Requirements: Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer

Science, Electrical Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign

education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience developing, maintaining,

and enhancing internal software tools or, alternatively, a Bachelor's

degree and five years of experience as noted above. The three (3) years of

experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing internal software tools

must include: Three (3) years in a lead position managing offshore

development teams to review, evaluate, code inspect, and adhere to product

definition; Two (2) years performing embedded software white-box testing,

maintaining unit test frameworks, performing code coverage, and performing

continuous integration; Two (2) years driving process improvements in

software development and verification using CMMI framework, Quality tools

(such as Fish Bone, 8D, or Causal Analysis), and Software development

metrics measurement and monitoring (such as Test Coverage, Defect Density,

or Escaped defects); and One (1) year designing and developing

microcontroller application software for Automotive Audio Entertainment

using C/C++ and handling control communication leveraging I2C, SPI, CAN
