Job Description:
Duties: Create and implement onsite merchandising strategy;
refine online shopping experience in collaboration with team leaders
including Category Management, Storefront/Engineering, Merchandising
Operations, Brand, and Marketing; serve as subject matter expert on
merchandising and traffic for sections of the product catalog; manage a team
of site merchandising professionals; create and implement improvements
to the site experience through development and execution of strategic
cross- functional projects that will improve conversion rate and drive
revenue growth; analyze vision for potential site improvements; analyze
site metrics and related data to identify opportunities to
improve merchandising across various product categories; and utilize
site, customer, and sales data to analyze results across initiatives
and report out on progress. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Marketing, Economics or related field (willing to accept foreign
education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience in retail
consulting or retail merchandising. One year of experience must include:
identifying operational process improvement opportunities and driving
concurrent improvements in people, process and technology; creating
strategic roadmaps for growth, managing implementation against deadlines
and milestones, and managing large scale cross-functional
transformation in high growth organizations; leading executive-level
communications with multiple stakeholders regarding strategic vision alignment and
project status updates, across multiple projects simultaneously large
scale cross-functional transformation in high growth organizations;
developing presentations using Visio and PowerPoint, and reporting on
business case analysis and revenue analysis using Excel; extracting and
analyzing data from various tools from complex relational databases such as
SQL, item data management systems, customer interactions data systems
(Adobe Omniture analytics, Tableau), and customer search intent data
(Google Analytics) to identify trends and insights of customers’
shopping experience; determining sources of customer traffic by analyzing
traffic source data (SEO, SEM, social, internal category, internal
class, internal guide pages, paid search, and affiliate); leading
cross functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and other
specialists throughout the strategic growth initiative development process,
and interfacing with cross-functional teams, UE designers,
graphic designers, and QA teams; utilizing data structure and
analysis (background in econometrics, multivariate analysis, survey
development and analysis, consumer preference analysis, SPSS syntax, SAS),
and performing experimental design and hypothesis testing including
A/B testing and multivariate testing (MVT); developing business
cases and financial strategy for product development, including defining
business goals, creating execution steps, and analyzing business return;
and building predictive models, using historical data to predict
target markets, customer segments, messaging and spending, and
evaluating predictive models including ROI analysis and back testing on
