Job Description:

The Technology Support Manager (Global Education and Care Advisory department) ensures ongoing delivery of high-quality work to major clients through all Global Education and Care (GEC) technology platforms, project management, while driving critical technical tasks with all internal and external participants and projects timelines. This role also serves as a key contributor in the department's technology decisions and growth of its online education portfolio through oversight of technology platforms and prioritization of the technology portfolio based on deliverables required.Responsibilities:Oversees suite of technology to support the department to ensure all major milestones and deliverables are able to be delivered in a timely manner.Supports department with a variety of technology tools and software such as Salesforce, Smartsheets, SharePoint, and other Learning Management platforms.Leads as needed team trainings of technology tools, and coordinates system implementations between internal and external stakeholders.Ability to manage tasks within project such as video recording, editing and creation of final product using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and/or Camtasia.Ability to be the technology expert/producer for virtual live education programs hosted on Zoom and/or Microsoft teams.Proactively identifies and escalates technology risks and issues that threaten the delivery dates or outcomes of projects, programs, strategic client relationships, or technical needs and builds risk mitigation plans to course correct.Actively participates in annual planning activities for the group to ensure technology portfolio aligns with department strategy, product development goals, and department objectives to help drive outcomes for key Joslin stakeholders.Contributes to department planning and execution for applications and related "add-on" software components, and their relevant upgrades, backups, and other system administrator activities.Assumes responsibility for supporting, documenting, and/or extending functionality during and post implementation.Makes recommendations for design and workflow improvements based on knowledge of software and GEC operations. Conducts financial analysis and planning activities for the annual budget process as it relates to suite of technology needed to support the department strategic plan.Manage vendors and service providers to define department/program needs, project scope requirements, performance expectations, and problem solve service issues.Assists in developing and executing plans to grow programs with existing clients, collaborating closely with the Global Education and Care Advisory Business Development team to ensure proper technology support for growth initiatives.Consults on new product development needs related to technology requirements.Manages project technology to ensure compliance with defined quality standards, project management standards, and best practices for seamless participant user experience.Supports strategic assessment, adoption, and implementation of new technology; educates department and clinical faculty on technical knowledge to raise technology competency and avoid operational inefficiencies that arise from technology knowledge gaps.Works with medical and clinical content development leads to edit and assemble media, build and test online courses and curriculum to produce final client ready products.Partners with key stakeholders and technical experts to manage critical aspects related to technical rollout, challenges of technology application and departmental implementation, and long-term use.Continually learns new programs, techniques and technologies, and applies this learning to assigned tasks.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology Business, IT, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum 7 years of technical project management experience in a business, or technical environment having managed projects, programs, or suite of technology servicesAbility to administer multiple technology platformsAdvanced skills in all Microsoft Office products - strong editing skills needed.HTML/CSS and Flash programming capabilitiesSolid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management SystemVisual design skills including video production, editing, Photoshop, and ability to storyboardExperience working with custom software platforms, learning management systems and website content management systemsExcellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to communicate effectively in multiple forms, manage and prioritize multiple tasks, in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities / heavy workload at timesAbility to work both collaboratively and independently, as situation dictates.High degree of flexibility and resourcefulness.
