Process Engineer responsible for sustaining existing GaAs, GaN,
InP, and Si processes and developing new processes in the wafer fab
located in Lowell, MA. Specific responsibilities include: sustain
the assigned area to meet all factory indicators; plans and
conducts experiments to fully characterize the process throughout
the development cycle; drives improvements on quality, reliability,
cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and
safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method,
equipment, environment and operating personnel. Successful
candidate develops solutions to problems utilizing formal
education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
* BS or MS degree in Engineering.
* Demonstrated knowledge in compound semiconductor processes for
high frequency applications with hands on working experience.
* Specific semiconductor skills include solid understanding of
semiconductor device physics and IC processing, data mining and
statistics, SPC, DOE, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured
* Must have a proven track record of solving technical problems,
project ownership and meeting deadlines, and multitasking.
* Must display strong sense of ownership, drive and dedication to
the improvement of the process area.
* The ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
to improve processes.
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including
technical writing for summarizing data and findings, writing
process and equipment specifications and work instructions.
* Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
